Jorge Nava Took a Ride Post-Prison Release

Nava began serving his jail sentence in Arizona State Prison Complex in September 2018, months after he got arrested on felony charges for possession of marijuana for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and the intent to transport and/or sell marijuana. Though initially set for August release, he got out of prison on Monday, May 11. He is currently under community supervision.

In early November 2019, Nava surprised many with his new look after losing more than 125 pounds. Months later, he revealed that it was his drastic weight loss transformation that drove him and Arkhipchenko apart. Through his lawyer, he said, “I think she was just jealous of the attention that I was getting. The news about my weight loss didn’t sit with her very well.”

Back in late April, Nava opened up about being ready to find love once again when he is released from prison. “I just have to get my life together and make sure I’m good as a person before I’m able to give somebody else something,” he shared during an episode of “90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined”. He went on to admit finding out about Arkhipchenko’s relationship with boyfriend, Leo Assaf, through the internet.
