AceShowbiz – Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have given the funds of hunger-relief organisation Feeding America a $1.75 million (£1.4 million) boost by playing poker with their celebrity friends.
Adam Sandler, Jon Hamm, Tobey Maguire, Adam Levine, Bryan Cranston and Sarah Silverman were among the stars who joined in for the virtual Texas hold ’em game on Saturday (April 11), with each participant donating $10,000 (£8,000) to secure their spot at the digital table.
The All-In For Feeding America charity event, which also allowed members of the public to engage with the celebrity players online, proved to be a big success, with poker professional Ebony Kenney taking first place, followed by “The Usual Suspects” actor Kevin Pollak in second.
“Breaking Bad” star Cranston also put on a good showing, taking fifth place overall.
