AceShowbiz – Billie Eilish‘s 2020 keeps getting better – her 2019 hit “Bad Guy” has been crowned the world’s top single by bosses at the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
The track was the most listened to song of the last 12 months, and was downloaded 19.5 million times – a million more than second-placed “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X.
“Billie Eilish has taken the world by storm with her incredible voice and genre-defying sound,” IFPI CEO Frances Moore says.
The 18-year-old picked up five Grammy Awards in February and became the youngest artist to record a James Bond theme.
