AceShowbiz – Lil Boosie had a message for Dwyane Wade after his 12-year-old child came out as a transgender girl. The rapper said in a video message the retired basketballer had “gone too f**king far” as he believed the kid was too young to undergo gender transition.
“That is a male. A 12-year-old. At 12, they don’t even know what they next meal gon’ be. They don’t have s**t figured out yet. He might meet a woman, anything, at 16 and fall in love with her. But his dick be gone – how he gon’ – like, bruh, you going too far, dawg,” Boosie said.
“If he gay, let him be gay,” the rapper added. “Don’t address him as a woman, dawg. He’s 12-years-old. dawg. He’s – he’s not there yet. He hasn’t made his final decisions yet. Don’t cut his f**kin d**k off, Dwyane Wade, bruh. You f**kin’ trippin’, dawg. You trippin’ dawg.”
Fellow NBA player Nick Young agreed with Boosie. The former Los Angeles Lakers player commented on Instagram, “If he still wanna do it at 18 or 21 then you let him [but] not at 12.”
Dwyane Wade revealed his daughter’s transgender identity on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” earlier this month, but he said the kid had identified herself as a girl since she was only 3. “She’s known it for nine years, since she was 3 years old,” he opened up on “Good Morning America“.
Zaya’s story will be featured in Dwyane’s ESPN documentary “D. Wade: Life Unexpected” due Sunday, February 23. “I struggled on how much I wanted to talk about in the doc,” the athlete said. “I actually didn’t talk about it a lot. But, I knew if I put it in the doc at all, it would be a big conversation. “
“Yes, we understand that our daughter’s 12 years old. We struggled with what people would say about a 12-year-old making a decision about her life, but we also know our child. So we sit back and we say. ‘You know what?’ “
