AceShowbiz – Matthew Bomer won’t stay quiet when finding himself being objectified. After a meme highlighting his similarities to screenwriter Ryan Murphy’s four other leading men went viral, the former “Suits” actor perfectly clapped back at the troll making it using Grace Kelly comparison.
The online banter began when a Twitter user posted a side-by-side photo of the 42-year-old along with the other “American Horror Story” actors, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson and Max Greenfield. “i could not name one of these men if someone put a gun to my head,” the user wrote in an accompanying caption.
Refusing to let the meme slide, Bomer retweeted it along with a note that read, “I love all of these men and their unique talents. But if you’re going to line us up and objectify us every few months like Ryan Murphy’s version of a Hitchcock blonde…then I’ve got dibs on Grace Kelly.” He also tagged his co-stars, letting the troll know who are exactly included in the picture.
In response to Bomer’s reaction, the creator of the meme was quick to offer an apology. “sorry sir i just really didn’t know your name,” the user wrote in addition to two pleading eyes emojis. It led Bomer to kindly write back, “It’s just a joke! Don’t feel bad- sending love and best wishes to all.”
Upon receiving the kind answer from the Golden Globe Award winner, the critic couldn’t help but praise him. “thanks matt, u seem nice haha,” the user wrote as s/he changed Twitter account’s name into “now a matt bomer stan account.”

During the show, he shared how it was like to live with husband Simon Halls, whom he shares three children together, amid the coronavirus quarantine.
“It’s been a period of adjustment,” he confided. “I feel for all parents and kids, dealing with academic and emotional needs.”
