AceShowbiz – Beloved British children’s TV personality Paul Chuckle has tested positive for COVID-19.
The 72-year-old has assured fans he is “on the mend” after battling a mild form of the virus over the past couple of weeks.
He confirmed the diagnosis via a Twitter video on Monday (March 30), stating, “Hi guys, just checking in to let you know I’m still around. I have been laid up with COVID-19 for a few days – just mild but it was there and it’s not nice, I promise you.”
The Chuckle Brothers star also urged fans to follow guidelines and “stay inside”, adding, “We’re all going stir crazy, we know that, but please stay inside… Please, please stay in guys, and enjoy as best you can.”
